Many couples find me long before the wedding day — sometimes right after the proposal. If you’re planning an engagement session in Vienna or want a small pre-wedding photoshoot to get comfortable in front of the camera, I’m happy to create something that fits your style. These sessions are great for save-the-date cards or simply as a quiet moment together before the wedding day becomes busy. And if you’re already married, I also offer small anniversary sessions where we revisit the story in a softer, slower way. It’s all part of the same love story, just different chapters.

FAQ — Wedding Photography in Vienna

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer in Vienna?

Most couples reach out between January and March, when the wedding planning season starts. Since I take a limited number of weddings per year, booking early is the safest way to secure your date. Some dates are booked a year in advance but if your wedding date is near I might still have an open slot, so feel free to reach out!

Do you help with planning the photography part of the day?

Absolutely. Before the wedding we talk about timing, light, locations, and anything that matters to you. I help you shape a timeline that’s calm, realistic. As I do cinematic wedding photography, I barely interfere in the process at all and we only need to plan our wedding sessions and photos with guests, then we clear out our timeline and the rest is entirely on me!

What happens if the weather turns bad?

Weather in Vienna can be unpredictable, but it’s never a problem. Rain, clouds or sun — each brings a different mood, and often the most dramatic photos happen when the light is imperfect.

How many photos do you usually deliver?

It depends on the package, but I always focus on quality over quantity. Every delivered photo is edited in my cinematic style. Still I have to mention that every important moment is captured and I send the photos of every significant part of the day.

Do you travel outside Vienna for weddings?

Yes, I’m happy to travel anywhere in Austria or nearby countries. I capture destination weddings around Europe also. Just tell me where your wedding will be and I’ll plan everything with you.

Do you also photograph engagement sessions or proposals?

Yes, many couples work with me already at the engagement stage. I photograph surprise proposals, engagement sessions, and pre-wedding shoots in Vienna. It’s a calm way to get used to being photographed and to create a small gallery before the wedding day.
